The Malaysian Mensa International Treasure Hunt 2019 is an IBD 2019 competition open to all current Mensans and their guests.
It will be held on Oct 12 2019 from 8am to 2pm.
It is a motor hunt.
There is an entry fee of RM100 per pax. (Lunch is included)
Each team is made up of 4 members.
Each team will include 1 international Mensan.
The 3 other members are either 3 local Mensans or 2 local Mensans and 1 local non-Mensan.
Teams need to register for taking part. Fill up the Hunt forms as follows:
Hunt Form A : for Malaysian Mensans
Hunt Form B : Registration is now closed for International Mensans
The treasure hunt has a few distinct components to it.
Part 1: 30 Questions are based on cryptic clues. Answers are signboards in certain sectors.
Part 2 : 5 Treasures based on cryptic clues. These are to be bought anywhere along the way. Typically, the total cost will be come to about RM15.
Part 3 : The Puzzler is based on a series of questions related to an actual pattern that can be seen along the route.
Part 4: I-SPY is based on identifying unique physical objects on the route.
